About Us

Southwold Weddings is edited and managed by Mary Ritchie. The website was recently taken over from Erika Clegg after she had ran it for 2 very successful years. However, due to her other work commitments was unable to continue dedicating the time it needed to expand and develop it further.

Mary has successfully ran her own catering recruitment agency for the last three years and after organising her own wedding in Lowestoft last year, realised how much she enjoyed arranging weddings and has now expanded her business to include wedding and event management services. Although she is from Lowestoft she has fallen in love with Southwold and it's abundance of wonderful venues and appeal to couples outside of the area and is looking forward to working with the organisations and suppliers in the area and assisting couples marrying here and nearby.

Our mission is to provide a creative, affordable and reliable service with enthusiasm, energy and common sense. We love Southwold and the Heritage Coast and will protect its character, its reality and its appeal in all our actions. Southwold Weddings is here to support local businesses and organisations whilst offering a fair service to their users.
